Peruvian musician Mario Zedog has recently unveiled his second world music album, titled "Luna," which was released in 2023. The album showcases musical production and arrangements by Aníbal Seminario, the director of the Afro Peruvian Jazz Orchestra, a Grammy Latino-winning big band that has also received a nomination for a U.S. Grammy. This musical endeavor, brought to life by the classical guitarist, composer, arranger, visual artist, and educator, presents six captivating tracks, with "Veleidosa" taking the spotlight as the album's lead single and promotional video.

Reflecting on the album's origins, Zedog shared, "After the release of my debut album, Aníbal and I explored the possibility of continuing our musical collaboration with a second installment. Circumstances aligned, and I began composing in February of last year, completing four new tracks by July: 'Veleidosa,' 'Audite Poverelle,' 'Luna,' and 'A la tristeza en los Ojos de mi Madre.' Additionally, I revisited two pieces composed in previous years: 'Preludio en Re Mayor,' paying homage to Johann Sebastian Bach, and 'Estados de la Mente.' While the latter was previously recorded, it won't be included in this current album but may find a place in a potential third release."
