Hailing from Peru, Mario Zedog is a polymath known for his roles as a classical guitarist, composer, arranger, artist, and educator.

Commencing his musical journey at 15 under Maestro Mario Orozco's guidance, he began composing for the guitar by the age of 16. 

Zedog underwent a profound spiritual transformation, dedicating a decade to religious formation within the Franciscan brothers of the Holy Name Province. This pivotal phase not only significantly influenced his personal development but also intricately wove his artistic expressions with a profound sense of spirituality.

A pivotal chapter in Zedog's career unfolded through two collaborative albums, "El Sueño del Inca" and "Luna." Teaming up with exceptional musicians like Aníbal Seminario, Rayner Fernandez, Alex Flavell, Marlon Martínez, Osmar Okuma, Arturo Solar, Jean Luiggi Cortez, Gino Gamboa, Mario Orozco, Coco Vega, Víctor Meléndez, and Hann Meléndez, Zedog reshaped his compositions with fresh sounds and cultural nuances. 

His gratitude extends to each collaborator, acknowledging not just their musical prowess but also their generosity and exceptional human qualities.
