Mario Zedog titled his debut album "El sueño del inca," which was recorded in both the United States and Peru. The album features musical production and arrangements by Aníbal Seminario, the director of the Afro Peruvian Jazz Orchestra, a Grammy Latino-winning big band nominated for a Grammy in the United States.
The first album from this classical guitarist, composer, arranger, visual artist, and educator also includes contributions from U.S. musicians and two special guests from Peru: Mario Orozco, who played rhythmic guitar on "Tatiana," and Hann Meléndez, who contributed cajón and handclaps on the track "El sueño del inca."
Recorded at Corchea Recording Studio in Paramount, CA, USA, and Orozco Studio in Lima, the album features Aníbal Seminario on clarinet and keyboard, Rayner Fernández on percussion, Marlon Martínez on contrabass, and Alex Flavell on piano. Renowned producer Rayner Fernández handled the editing and mastering, and the album was released by the MVM Music label, overseen by Aníbal Seminario himself.
